Organic almonds - the mild all-rounder
The almond is not only the superstar of vegan cuisine and a healthy snack for in between, but also an all-rounder in many skin care products from lavera natural cosmetics. The light yellow almond oil is obtained through gentle cold pressing and is rich in high-quality nutrients and vitamins. Almond oil has a sweet, nutty scent, protects and cares for skin and hair and is particularly well tolerated by sensitive skin. Deified for over 3,000 years
The almond can look back on an amazingly long history, as it has been known in Europe for several thousand years. Almonds were already being cultivated in Greece in the 5th century AD, where they were called “Greek nuts”. Almond trees are mainly cultivated in western Central Asia and the Mediterranean region. The almond tree probably has its origins in subtropical China and the Near East. It grows best in temperate, warm zones, but it doesn't mind the cold (down to -20 degrees). The tree or shrub-like plant belongs to the rose family.
